Dispersol 3500
- Dispersol 3500
PRODUCT NAME: RTW-171
TYPE: Advanced Iron Dispersant, Corrosion Inhibitor & Hardness Control Agent
Optimized for Cooling Water Treatment | Fully Compatible with Oxidizing Biocides
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
RTW-171 is a high-performance, liquid formulation designed for comprehensive cooling water treatment. It incorporates a synergistic blend of efficient dispersant for hardness salts and metallic oxides, and advanced corrosion inhibitors to effectively control iron fouling, scale formation, and corrosion. This environmentally responsible product is free from chromates, nitrites, zinc, and other harmful substances. It is fully compatible with chlorine and other oxidizing biocides commonly used in cooling systems.
KEY BENEFITS
Triple Action: Iron dispersant, corrosion inhibitor, and scale control in a single formulation
Non-Toxic: Does not contain chromates, nitrites, or zinc
Biocide-Compatible: Stable in systems using oxidizing biocides (e.g., chlorine)
Cost-Efficient: Effective at low dosages (10–30 ppm)
Flexible Application: Suitable for various water qualities and system conditions
Environmentally Friendly: Safe for industrial use with proper handling
APPLICATIONS
RTW-171 is ideal for use in open-loop recirculating cooling systems and cooling towers, particularly where:
Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) > 1: Used independently as an effective iron dispersant, scale, and corrosion inhibitor
LSI < 1: Recommended to be used in combination with RTW-120 and RTW-121 for enhanced corrosion protection
DOSAGE & CONTROL
Typical Dosage: 10–30 ppm (depending on system parameters and fouling severity)
Control Target: Maintain phosphonate concentration in system water >1 ppm at all times
Dosage optimization should be based on water analysis and site conditions. Technical support is available for dosage calibration.
STORAGE & SAFETY
Store in a cool, dry place, avoid direct sunlight, avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
